When focusing on quality over quantity, busy parents have to make the most out of what little time they have. Their calendars are often completely full, often with overlapping meetings and appointments. However, just like building the habit of exercising, busy parents often have to schedule quality time with their kids in order to make it happen.

Take a look at your calendar. Do you have 10 minutes of uninterrupted time before your child’s bedtime each night? Block that time off and set a reminder. Most parents try to have this time be before dinner, after dinner, or before bath time.
